Call for Papers

IPTComm is the academic track within the Real-Time Communications Conference & Expo. Papers accepted and presented at IPTComm will be submitted for publication to the IEEE Xplore archive.

The 14th IPTComm, the academic track within the RTC Conference and Expo, will take place on October 13, 2021. We are making tentative plans to host the RTC Conference as an in-person event in Hermann Hall on the IIT main campus in Chicago, IL. We will provide updates later in the year regarding conference format as pandemic restrictions evolve.

IPTComm brings together researchers from academia, industry and government to advance Real-Time IP communications. The conference addresses current topics in Real Time Communications, including programmable network services, internet of things, interactive multimedia communications, artificial intelligence in communications networks with focus on their reliability , security , privacy, performance and scalability. The list of topics for IPTComm includes, but is not limited to:

Real-Time Communications Conference and Expo

IPTComm 2021 is hosted as a track within the Real-Time Communications Conference and Expo at IIT (RTC Conference), an international conference sponsored by the IEEE. Other tracks within the RTC Conference feature talks related to IoT, WebRTC, Programmable Telecom Networks and Applications, VoiceTech, and Next Generation Emergency Services. The demonstrations and presentations in these tracks will complement the material presented in the IPTComm track and serve as a source of new ideas and research partners in industry. The Call for Speakers for the remaining Conference tracks will be issued soon and will be accessible via the conference website.
