The IEEE Chicago Section and the Real-Time Communications Lab at Illinois Tech are delighted to co-host HackRTC on October 5 – 6, 2024, followed by the 20th annual Real-Time Communications (RTC) Conference and Expo at Illinois Tech from October 8 – 10, 2024. This year holds special significance for both the IEEE Chicago Section and the RTC Conference at Illinois Tech. 130 years ago, the IEEE Chicago section became the first AIEE (now IEEE) section formed outside of New York with the inaugural meeting taking place at Armour Institute (now Illinois Tech) in 1894. Meanwhile, the RTC Conference at Illinois Tech is excited to be celebrating our 20th anniversary. Few technology conferences reach such a significant milestone, and we invite you to join us in commemorating our past accomplishments as we look into the future in a celebration of knowledge, innovation, and collaboration.
The RTC Conference at IIT is a globally recognized collaborative event where the interactive multimedia and real-time communications industries converge with academia. This conference unites developers, technical professionals, and business executives from various sectors, fostering an open exchange of ideas to lead future development in the rapidly evolving field of real-time communications.
