She led and helped build professional services/consulting divisions at HP, EDS, Deloitte Consulting and AT&T Solutions in network, e-commerce, telecom and contact centre technologies.In 2000 she and her former IT director husband, Stephen Lawson, decided to form their own consulting firm, FOX GROUP Technology. Since then their consulting firm has grown and evolved into one of the leading boutique Canadian high-tech consulting firms of experienced management communications technology consultants. 911 Tech Advisors was formed as a division of FOX GROUP in 2015 to provide NG9-1-1 strategy, architecture and procurement support to Canadian first responder organizations.As Senior Management Technology Advisor, Roberta recently led the design, development and integration of the award-winning first in the world. The Canada Suicide Prevention Service is the first virtual suicide prevention distress centre linking coast to coast distress centres to provide suicide prevention and support to the people of Canada. Since the November 2017 launch, over 471 active rescues have been provided including assistance to 47 suicides in progress via voice and text to the people of Canada! The solution has received numerous awards in innovation and leadership in public service.
